We’ll miss you, Lynne!

Fond farewells from our staff and Board

Lynne,

For over a decade, you’ve been a quiet, steady presence, a foundation I leaned on more than you probably know, especially when I was just beginning in this role. Your friendship has meant a great deal to me, and I will truly miss you.

As you turn the page to focus on growing your yoga business and enjoying your time with your grandchildren, I wish you nothing but joy, peace, and continued fulfillment.

Tina Giroux-Robillard

Lynne,

It was wonderful working with you for the BQCMB in the dozen or so years we overlapped! You quickly embraced the heart of the Board’s conservation work from the start, and your compassion and support for caribou people showed in all of the many diverse educational and communications products you created. Although the role you played was mostly behind-the-scenes, it was crucial.

You are leaving big shoes to fill, but your excellent creative work will have positive impacts for years to come. All the best my friend!

Leslie Wakelyn

Former BQCMB Biologist (1996-2024)

Lynne,

It was wonderful to work with you over the past few years and witness your dedication and commitment to the Board. We will miss you, and your positive and welcoming energy.

Wishing you all the best in your new adventures, and hoping you get to take more time for yourself to do the things you love!

Joanie Kennah

The BQCMB has, over the years, depended on board members and staff who contributed in an over-and-above manner to keep the board on track: making sure the meetings ran smoothly, and participating in calls and discussions when decisions needed to be made.

Lynne was one of the staff who always gave that extra effort. The board will miss her, and we can only hope that the next person carrying on communications for the board will be able to contribute in the same excellent way that Lynne has. I will miss Lynne as a friend and collaborator!
